Ampersand Encore
Ampersand Encore is the alumnae/i group for Ampersand students, faculty and staff. We connect every five years on the campuses of St. Catherine’s and St. Christopher’s for a celebration and reunion inclusive of all graduation years.
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, we celebrated the 55th Anniversary of the founding of Ampersand.

Ampersand's 50th
Anniversary Celebration
More than 125 alumni from St. Catherine’s and St. Christopher’s joined together on September 22 and 23 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ampersand for the two schools.
It was a weekend filled with joy and excitement as alumni and faculty shared memories, discovered old playbills and connected with fellow Ampersand alums from other eras.
A variety of events took place on both campuses including performances by current students, an alumni panel discussion featuring former Ampersand members from both schools, tours of McVey Theatre and open mic time for alumni performances. During the panel discussion, the alumni, representing a variety of ages and roles within Ampersand, discussed how they found their home within Ampersand. A special highlight of the weekend was the recognition of former St. Catherine’s teacher and Ampersand Director Patty Sauls, who pioneered the first GSA club for the schools.
The weekend was capped off with a Cast Party held in McVey Dance Studio.
